Title: International Grandmaster
Preferred Level of Students: Challenger or Expert Level (1400+ USCF)
Teaching Style:
I prefer to focus on general principles and improving the thinking process, to improve as a chess player we must learn patterns from the different stages of the game and how to apply them, but also how to reason about chess positions and anticipate future events.
I want my students to truly see chess for what it is. That’s why one of my favorite books is “Invisible Chess Moves” by Yochanan Afek, which highlights the hidden ideas and surprising resources that separate strong players from everyone else. My goal is to help you develop that same deeper vision - so you can play with a stronger, more intuitive understanding of the game.
